About

A named person stands behind this advice

We tell dental practices that AI assistants trust named, credentialed people — not faceless brands. The same rule applies to us. Dental AI Blueprint is built and written by Scott Farrell, founder of LeverageAI.

Why dental

We studied the market before writing a word of advice

It started with a friend

A family friend asked for help making sense of AI for their practice — and every answer they'd been given was a sales pitch with no safety context.

So we did the research

Before publishing a word of advice: a June 2026 four-lens audit of every live Sydney dental practice website we could find — more than 1,000 sites, tens of thousands of findings across AHPRA wording, discoverability, trust and booking (plus a nightly check of live appointment availability). Everything free on this site is built from it.

And we run the patient side

Urgent Dentist Finder helps patients with urgent needs find a practice that can actually see them — so we watch the 9pm-toothache problem from both sides.

Background

Three decades of making technology safe for real businesses

LeverageAI specialises in the safe deployment of AI inside regulated businesses — data boundaries, approval workflows, audit trails, and AI that is useful without being reckless. Dental AI Blueprint brings that discipline to Australian dental practices.

Architecture & cloud

AWS Solutions Architect and TOGAF-certified Enterprise Architect, with three decades of delivery across business, IT and software.

Enterprise permission models

Salesforce certified ×8, including Integration Architect — the permission, role and approval models that safe practice AI needs in lighter form.

Security

CompTIA Security+ certified. Patient-data boundaries, tokenisation and audit evidence are treated as product architecture, not an afterthought.

Published work

45 ebooks on safe AI deployment, published at leverageai.com.au, alongside a Master of Management (Innovation).

What we are — and aren't

The same honesty we ask of AI vendors

Scott is not a dentist, and this site does not give clinical, legal or compliance advice. What we do is map the technology risk: where AI tools move patient data, where website wording can trigger an AHPRA review, where bookings leak. Everything public on this site uses public information only — we never request or process patient-identifiable data, and anything that needs a qualified legal or privacy opinion is flagged as exactly that.

Talk to a person, not a funnel

The free Blueprint is the best first step — it shows you something real about your own practice. But if you'd rather just ask a question, email works too.
